This album is an ode to nighttime.
Listening from beginning to end, the album represents a single night - any night from dusk until falling asleep.
The beginning is upbeat and exciting, like going out with friends on your night off.
As the night goes on, that excitement starts to fade and is replaced with a wonder and curiosity for the magic and endless possibilities of the night.
Eventually our bodies catch up with our minds and tiredness starts kicking in.
Sometimes we're stubborn and fight this feeling, but it usually wins.
Sooner or later we find ourselves in this twilight state where we can't tell if we are dreaming or awake.
Then sleep.
